David Simondson

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

David has over 30 years experience in both private and public practice. He has postgraduate qualifications in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and is consultant physiotherapist to the Neurosurgery department at St Vincent’s hospital, where he leads clinics in the management of spine pain. He has also conducted and presented research into recovery of ankle fracture and published this in a peer review journal.

His private work has included involvement with many sports including 10 seasons at the Camberwell Hockey club. He has been an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, presenting at two National conferences and chairing the Victorian branch of the Musculoskeletal Special Interest Group for four years. He regularly lectures to this group on radiology topics.

For 20 years he has been and continues to be a clinical educator for Post Graduate Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy candidates from Melbourne and La Trobe universities.
