Veteran’s Italian Cup – Soccer

Bryan Kent Italian Cup

Every year in Melbourne, the Veteran’s Italian Cup (over 35’s) is held.

This year, Bryan Kent had the privilege of working with the winning team, Bulleen Lions. Bryan was asked by the manager of the Bulleen Lions if he could cover the games and help with looking after some of the ‘older bodies’ before and after games. Some players hadn’t played for a while, so there were plenty of tight muscles that needed massaging, cupping and needling to keep them going. Bryan said “It was great to be back in a dressing room again. I have spent many years working with sports people and have always found it very special.”

Bryan had the please of working with Mark Bresciano and Sasa Ogenovski.

Mark was an Australian National team soccer player, 84 caps and 13 goals, and played in the Serie A in Italy for many years.

Sasa also played for the Australian National team, 10 caps and 1 goal. He played in Korea and won the Asian Champions league and was voted Asian player of the year in 2010.

Bulleen Lions won the final 3:1.
