Information for People Attending Hydrotherapy

Please bring your own bathers, towel and toiletries.

Report to reception before entering the pool area.

For hygiene reasons you should keep the soles of your feet covered in the area around the pool and in the shower area. Clean sandals or thongs are appropriate for this.

Have a quick rinse using the showers provided before entering the pool.

Wait until your physiotherapist is present before entering the pool.

Enter the pool via the stairs.

You are more vulnerable to becoming dehydrated in a pool than when on land.  It is therefore advisable to drink water prior to and following the class. You may choose to bring your own water bottle or use the water cooler provided.

Do not use the pool if you have an open wound or skin irritation. Speak to your physiotherapist, it may be possible to seal an open wound for the pool.

If you are taking any medication for a heart condition or asthma, please bring it to the pool side with you.

Inform your physiotherapist if you are feeling unwell.

Do not jump or dive into the pool or run in the pool area.

Bookings are necessary for hydrotherapy. Cancellation is required for non attendance.
